Insulation pad used under top cover to add extra insulation to the hive for winter. Item remains in plastic for use.
Can be used in conjuction with the Bee Cozy.
Will require space above the inner cover for its use such as a winter inner cover, rim spacer or a quilt box.
Don't compress the pad or its insulating ability will be reduced
