Stealing honey doesn't have to be a fight.  Bee escapes are used as a one way maze to remove bees from honey supers in a passive and gentle way.

Simply sandwich  the bee escape circle down over the brood boxes and under the honey supers the day before you want to harvest.

Make sure to remove or block any top entrances and if your population is too large for for the existing brood boxs add an additional super underneath. 

Attach to an inner cover with a center hole making sure it's on the same side as the notched entrance.  Fastening hardware and inner cover not included.
